Creating an attractive and usable social environment will add more space that the community will use. Public open space will be provided outside the Silo D Museum and the MIllennium Mills to give more scope for community interaction activities.
Additionally, workspaces in the office buildings will create local job opportunities that will enable further communities to engage within the area.
The link between Physical & Social regeneration
The use of an active waterfront for community activities will be provided in the open space outside Silo D, therefore, creating a community hub. This space can be used as the main meeting place for people to share ideas.
In addition, the amphitheatre will be one of the key landmarks on site, as the community will be able to socialise there as well.
