With exhibition buildings sitting above the water with inter linking walkways.	Royal Wharf Development The Royal Wharf development is one of the more recent residential developments in the area. It has provided just under 4,000 new home in the area.
ABP at Royal Albert Dock The largest development in the last few years has been seen on the Northern edge of the Royal Albert Dock. Phase 1 will provide workspace ranging from 13,582 - 119,862 sqft.	Silvertown Quays The proximity to London City makes the area a focus point for investment due to the business opportunities that can created with the aid of the easy travel links. Both into the City with DLR and Crossrail as well as wider Europe through the Airport.	ExCel Centre The ExCel exhibition has been heavily used over the years for all types of exhibitions, including the London Boat Show until 2019.
Residential Development The docks are not only witnessing commercial development. To feed these new jobs, large levels of residential development are being undertaken across the area.	London 2012 The area witnessed a large amount of investment for the London 2012 Olympics that were held in nearby Stratford. This investment has benefited the area and helped to draw in further investment, boosting the local economies and job markets.	The O2 Arena The O2 Arena is one of the biggest music venues in the UK, only beaten by The Manchester Arena. However, it is the busiest venue in the whole world. Beating even Maddison Square Gardens in New York.

The site is located in the historic London Docklands, which is found 7 miles east of the centre of London. It falls at the epicentre which at one point in its history was the largest port in the world. Its industrial history has given way to allow for redevelopment fit for the 21st century. With buildings such as The Crystal, Westfield Shopping Centre and the ExCel Centre being built. The redevelopment of the area will ensure that the history of the docks does is carried forward into the future.
