Regeneration & Conservation
COVID-19
As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the adoption of new ways of working which means that many people have re-imaged their workspace. In the Royal Docklands, we will ensure that the residential homes are built in a way where people can maintain productivity, collaboration and learning. Workplace layouts will be designed to maintain social distancing measures.

In the future, the well-being will be reflected in the designs of the outside open spaces. This could involve soundproofing, calming colours, comfortable furniture and dimmable lighting. Greater appreciation of the outside space will be for the benefit of mental and physical health. Increased planting and greenery installed in the open areas and office space will be implemented in the Royal Docklands.
